ARTISTIC PRACTICE

Camellia works primarily in acrylic on paper and canvas, creating semi-abstract compositions through colour, shape and expressive mark-making.

Her practice is characterised by an energetic approach to composition and a strong command of colour. Rather than pursuing literal representation, Camellia is interested in the interaction between colour, form and space, allowing shapes and marks to suggest rather than define the subject.

Her work reflects an ongoing exploration of semi-abstraction and contemporary painting, informed by a range of artistic influences while maintaining a distinctive personal approach.
